You deserve it all -- health, energy, vitality and your ideal body.
In our modern world however, there are an increasing number of challenges preventing you from looking and feeling your best. From household cleaning products to personal care and cosmetics, you come in contact with more toxins before you leave your house than you can count. Add to that environmental pollutants, chemicals from food and day-to-day stress and it's no wonder you feel powerless to take back your health.
The truth is though, that regaining control over your health is easier than you think -- and it starts by addressing the underlying reasons that are keeping you stuck where you are right now. By combining the science of Functional Medicine with ancient Ayurvedic traditions, the Dr. Cabral Detox is a comprehensive method of restoring the body to a state of dynamic equilibrium.
Whether you're dealing with issues such as weight gain, brain fog, low mood and bloating, or something more serious, they all have something in common -- they are symptoms, but they are not the cause. That's because the true problem starts at a deeper level due to an imbalance, toxicity or deficiency that can be difficult to uncover.
Thankfully, no matter what your individual health challenges are, the path back to amazing health is the same, with results you can see and feel in as little as 7-days!
You know how important it is to fuel your body on a daily basis with the nutrients it needs to thrive. The problem is, even if you're eating healthy, it's nearly impossible to achieve optimal nutrition through food alone (even organic). This is why the EquiLife Daily Nutritional Support was formulated by Dr. Cabral. It is a vegan, hypoallergenic protein powder, fortified with a wide range of activated vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, detox co-factors, and electrolytes, making it a one-stop-shop to fill the nutritional gaps in your diet.
The AYU Detox utilizes rare botanical extracts that have been used in traditional Aryuvedic medicine for centuries to assist the body through detoxification. Triphala, a combination of three ayurvedic herbs, has been formulated in careful synchrony to support the body through both phases of liver detoxification.
The FM Detox provides your body with important amino acids, antioxidants, herbal extracts, trace minerals, and essential vitamins to promote and enhance detoxification, while protecting the liver. Liver detoxification occurs in two phases. During both, the body requires specific nutrients that induce and enhance detoxification pathways. The FM Detox utilizes the best of Functional Medicine to enhance detoxification, while supporting the liver.
I've done the detox 3 times now and I can definitely feel the difference each time. I have sleep tracking capabilities on my smart watch, and each detox I can see the improvements in my sleep quality (Lower resting heart rate, higher heart rate variability, feel VERY well rested in the mornings). I've even convinced my husband to complete his first one too! He's starting his soon.
This isn't my first time doing the their detox. I have done it a few times and each time I am reminded why I keep coming back to it. Because it really does what it says it does. Following this detox I am going straight into the CBO protocol and I feel more ready than ever.
The 7 day detox was easy to follow. I felt supported by the daily emails and easy to follow instructions. This was not my first detox/fast but it was the best for me. Drinking that amount of water with the shakes helped my dry skin on my arms and legs to go away and all the fresh vegetables put an amazing glow on my face! I was amazed, and am so grateful for this balanced program. My husband even felt the difference. That is thrilling. Thank you for developing this. I am continuing the plan and ordering the shake again. My diet is very clean but I have kept this pattern of eating for 3 weeks now and feel better than ever. Forever grateful.
I have recently completed the Dr. Cabral FM Detox for the 5th time. I cannot say enough good things about this process and experience. It is truly a holistic 7-day journey that I have become excited about every 3 months. I love the sense of feeling lighter. Plus, I appreciate how it renews my relationship with food. Thank you Dr. Cabral for all you do! You are amazing.
My goal for the detox was to help my body internally reduce inflammation and reset after having some digestion issues for a few months. I wasn't looking to specifically loose weight or inches. This was the first time I had ever done a detox, so I was kind of excited to see what all the hype is about. Seven days later, and I have no clue why anyone does these, let alone more than once. I took the day before to plan my meals for days 3-5. Something that was deceiving was the little image of food on the daily menu provided shows a beautiful colorful salad. But you can only have 2 carb choices (all vegetables), 1 fat and 1 protein. So there was not as much variety as they were making it look like.
The first day wasn't too bad, took a little getting used to the vanilla flavor. I put berries and spinach in one smoothie. Day two, I woke up feeling weak, but as soon as I had my shake I was feeling a bit better. Took a nap and did as little as possible. Day 3 I felt pretty positive, like I can do this. I was SO excited to have actual food. However, days 4-7 were all downhill...continual bad brain fog and forgetfulness, minimal energy, terrible mood. And the daily automated e-mails just got worse and more sales-y. They were encouraging, don't get me wrong, I just felt like they weren't really teaching me anything and just told me to continue with the shakes after the detox to keep a balanced healthy lifestyle, and to have a "cheat meal on the weekends". I'm not sure cheat meals are mentally healthy for people learning to have a healthy relationship with food, but I digress...
Something I liked about this detox was that you COULD eat real food and choose from several different food options. This made it feel a little less restricting. I did include berries and spinach in my smoothies on days 4 and 6 because I wanted to work out a little and have a bit more energy, which helped. The biggest mistake I made was taking the suggested 1/2-1 cup of protein source as hemp seeds. Whatever you do, never eat 1 cup of hemp seeds in one meal! I had never had them before, so I wasn't quite sure how to best eat them and really didn't fully comprehend that 3tbs was 150 calories and 15g of fat - turn that into 1 cup of hemp seeds and you have TONS of calories and fat that make you feel so heavy and full. This was a learning for me, but I just found it odd that you could only choose 1 protein source and the recommended serving size was 1/2 cup to 1 cup. I felt quite miserable for the remainder of the day to say the least.
This review turned way longer than I intended, but I hope it's helpful to some as I struggled to find very many helpful reviews of this product prior to trying it out (besides whether or not it helped lose weight).
