Included are simple to understand test directions along with all the supplies needed to collect your sample at home. We even include a self-addressed pre-paid envelope to send your sample. Your sample is analyzed at a CLIA-certified laboratory, and once it's processed you'll receive your results along with a complimentary video call with a health coach. Yes. Every sample is processed at a CLIA-certified laboratory, which are facilities that operate under federal quality and accuracy standards for clinical lab testing. We've selected the best testing from trusted labs with clear collection instructions so you can feel confident with the entire testing process.

EquiLife has its own physician network, and so we sign off on the lab testing for you. A few states regulate at-home lab testing differently, so availability can vary by location (for example, tests currently can't be shipped to New York). You'll always see any restrictions that apply on the lab test product page.

It's designed to be simple. Each kit includes clear, step-by-step instructions for collecting your sample. The sample type depends on the specific test. For example, some use a saliva sample, others a small finger-prick blood spot, hair, urine, or a stool sample, and some have simple prep steps, like not eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth for a couple of hours before a saliva collection. Once collected, you seal everything in the prepaid return packaging and mail it back.

Results are typically ready around ten to twenty-one days after the lab receives your sample. Turnaround can vary by test. One important tip: be sure to register your kit before mailing your sample, since the lab can't begin processing until registration is complete, and an incomplete registration will delay your results.

We take the privacy of your health information seriously. Your results are delivered securely through your personal EquiLife health portal, and we handle your data in accordance with our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. As you will note, we do not sell or share your lab test information. We encourage you to review that policy for full details on how your information is collected, used, and protected.

Within the U.S., we ship at-home lab tests to most states, with some exceptions due to state regulations (tests currently cannot be shipped to New York or Washington State). Internationally, lab tests are available in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Please note that all at-home lab tests expire six months from the purchase date, so be sure to collect and return your sample before then. For returns: an unused, unregistered kit can be refunded if returned before it's registered and processed by the lab; once a test has been processed or has expired, it's no longer eligible for return.
