B vitamins are essential in a wide range of bodily functions, especially their involvement in metabolism and energy production. Vitamin B1 helps the body make new cells. B2 (Riboflavin) is important for the production of red blood cells and fighting free radicals. B3 (Niacin) helps the body convert carbohydrates into usable energy. B5 (Pantothenic acid) is responsible for the production of hormones as well as its involvement in metabolizing fats and carbohydrates from food for energy. B6 (Pyridoxine) also converts food into energy and plays an important role in supporting a healthy immune system and the production of serotonin, the neurotransmitter that supports a positive mood. B8 (Inositol) is a major component of cell membranes and has also shown to balance the brain chemicals that support mood.
