Restore Hormone Balance

What is Measured

Hormone Markers

Assess your hormone balance, including stress-related changes

  • Estradiol (E2): The main form of estrogen, critical for regulating reproductive function, mood, and bone health.

  • Progesterone: A hormone that stimulates and regulates important functions including preparing the body for conception and maintaining pregnancy, regulating menstrual cycles and more.

  • Testosterone: Testosterone is not just important for men! It's also produced in a woman's ovaries, and combined with estrogen, testosterone helps to repair reproductive tissues, support healthy bone mass, and much more.

  • DHEA: Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a hormone naturally produced in the adrenal glands. DHEA is a precursor to other hormones, including testosterone and estrogen. Natural DHEA levels peak in early adulthood and slowly fall as you age.

  • Cortisol: Known as the body's "stress hormone." If stress levels are high on an ongoing basis, progesterone levels may decrease, disrupting the balance of estrogen and progesterone. Additionally, cortisol can inhibit the secretion of TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone), leading to partial suppression of Thyroxine, the main hormone produced by the thyroid gland. This test looks at cortisol levels 4 times throughout the day to get a clear picture of trends.

  • Estradiol E2/Progesterone Ratio: As women age, they can produce the same level of estrogen, while progesterone production drops, leading to"estrogen dominance." This test measures the ratio of estrogen to progesterone, a key marker of estrogen dominance.

Adrenal Function

Evaluate how your adrenal health is affecting stress resilience and overall wellbeing

  • Cortisol Levels (throughout the day): Cortisol is measured at four points during the day (morning, midday, evening, night) to provide a comprehensive picture of adrenal function and stress response patterns

  • DHEA: Also included as part of adrenal function assessment, as it is produced by the adrenal glands and plays a role in managing stress and hormone balance
