The thyroid is a small butterfly-shaped gland located near the throat. Although the organ itself is small, it has a significant impact on overall health. The thyroid produces countless hormones that affect nearly every tissue in the body. When functioning properly, it helps regulate everything from metabolism to sexual function. The Thyroid TSH Test looks at thyropin, a hormone that stimulates the thyroid into producing more of the important hormones needed to live a healthy life. If your levels of TSH are elevated or subdued, it may indicate that your thyroid is not functioning optimally.

If you've not been feeling like yourself, a thyroid issue could be at the root cause. Thyroid issues can be hard to notice and even harder to pinpoint. As a regulator of hormones, a thyroid imbalance can cause weight gain, fatigue, dry skin, and muscle weakness. The Thyroid TSH Test offers a rare view into this often overlooked but important part of the body.
The Thyroid Health Test checks thyroid stimulating hormone, which can indicate the relative health of your thyroid. The results can empower you to find ways to better support your thyroid, which in turn can help with hormone rebalancing.
TSH or Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone is a pituitary hormone that stimulates the thyroid gland to produce thyroxine, and then triiodothyronine which stimulates the metabolism of almost every tissue in the body.
TSH or Thyroid-stimulating hormone is made in a gland in the brain called the pituitary. When thyroid levels in your body are low, the pituitary gland makes more TSH. When thyroid levels are high, the pituitary gland makes less TSH. TSH levels that are too high or too low can indicate your thyroid isn't working correctly.
The Thyroid TSH test uses the relationship between TSH and the thyroid to assess overall thyroid health. The results can help you find ways to boost thyroid function to support metabolism, energy levels, and body temperature.

Just mailed off my TSH lab and looking forward to seeing my results after being on the Thyroid Support supplement for several months. Love these at home functional medicine labs!
I'm glad the registration process is online, but confusing to be sent the link to do so prior to receiving the test kit in the mail where you need the included QR code! Sent in my blood sample, now awaiting the results.... would be nice to have a status update that it was received, etc. But too early to provide information as to whether or not this test's results are helpful as I've not received them yet.
The test kit directions are easy to follow.
Once you receive your at-home lab test, please follow the instructions provided to register your test. Once sample(s) are sent to one of our CLIA certified labs, it will take approximately 3 weeks for your results to be returned, during which time you will receive information on how to schedule your one-one-one health coaching call.
You can contact us at email@example.com for general questions.
If you have a more specific question about your sample collection you may reach out to the lab directly to better guide you - each instruction sheet has the contact information available to get your questions answered promptly!

Make sure you hydrate with plenty of water (2-4 eight-ounce cups) a few hours prior to collection
